The number one thing we want everyone to know is that our puppies will ALWAYS have a home. If for any reason you can not keep your puppy, we will take it back, no questions asked! But with that said we try hard to find our puppies loving forever homes to prevent puppies from getting moved around. We want to make sure you are well prepared in taking care of a puppy. The number ONE reason that people don’t keep a puppy is because of potty training. And due to that reason, we do not suggest getting two puppies at one time. Please do your research and realize that ALL puppies take a lot of time, attention and consistency. If you want two puppies we suggest getting the second puppy when your first puppy is around one year old. Potty training wont last forever and once it’s done, it’s done! If you are not ready for the demands of a puppy or have the time for training, we suggest adopting an older puppy that is already house trained and over the puppy stage. You may also ask about retired Mama dogs that may be available in the future. There are many perks to getting a young puppy and the time and effort spent raising a family pet from a young age is well worth it. You will know exactly where your puppy came from and what he or she has experienced in his early life. You will have the opportunity to bond with your puppy and train him from the start, the way that you desire. If you are not real experienced with training, we suggest to all of our puppy families to take a basic obedience puppy class. Socialize your puppy and ask lots of questions. Many of our puppies who take obedience classes graduate the top of their class. We recommend making sure your puppy has completed all his puppy vaccines before attending classes or going to social events or parks of any kind.
Once your puppy is home you will need to schedule 12 and 16 week vaccine boosters before taking your puppy to heavy dog traffic areas such as puppy class or dog groomers.
